Welcome to The Wilmington Professional Group(TM).
The Wilmington Professional Group was established in February of 2006 and was the first free networking group in the Wilmington area. We are a social & business connecting group that meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month at different locations around the city. We invite the public to join us at our events to network and socialize in a fun professional environment. Any business can be a host or sponsor, but we like to let the two work together to shape the event.
Host – Location of the event (Host promotes their business to the group). This person or business will be in charge of appetizers and beverages.* (Will split costs with Sponsor) Don’t have to be a member. Must be a location large enough to hold 70 – 100 people comfortably.
Sponsor – The person who is doing a presentation on their business at the event location. This person or business will also be in charge of appetizers and beverages.* (Will split costs with Host)
*For any event, light appetizers and beverages (water, sodas, beer and wine) are encouraged. Our events are as much a social event as a networking event.
